The article summarises the finding of a peer-reviewed research study (and provides the link for this), and addresses an interesting question for public health. It could reference further work in this area to provide a more balanced overview of the topic. In general though it could be much clearer and more accessible to a general audience, e.g. the lifestyle and lifespan definitions are vague (e.g. what constitutes regular physical activity?), and more effort could be made to illustrate the impact of the % changes in terms of altered years (a figure would help).
